Was recommended by a friend and I must say its was good..I got a special they run that gives you one large pizza and 24 wings for 35+ tax.Not a bad price and the pizza was good I think the pizza sauce was a bit sweet but never the less good..Now the wings they where good and it was some big wings..They sauce was just right.I definitely recommend it..A hidden wing gem.
Funny, all those times I passed by this place, I thought it read âBarrioâsâ. Nope, Barroâs. Itâs an Arizona-based pizza chain offering their take on Chicago-style pizza, based on Grandma Angelina Barroâs recipes. If you like slices of hot, mouthwatering thick crust pizza, a bit on the gooey / greasy side, youâll love it. You queue up to order at the counter, where youâll either be served immediately or given a number table stand so they can bring out your order when itâs ready. Lunch hour, so I went with one of their specials, #6 â three slices & a small drink, one slice each of pepperoni, sausage & the Barroâs special. Paid by card and amazingly, no prompt to leave a tip! Yes, this restaurant doesnât panhandle / guilt their counter-service customers for 25% handouts in the guise of showing appreciation for their staff for simply doing their jobs. Lunch total was $10.05. They were doing a brisk business when I arrived; a couple of large parties of work colleagues, several families. TVâs around the premises tuned to sports channels, Sirius XM playing contemporary indie rock/pop, a handful of video games. Some dB commotion between Doggy Star radio & one of the rather boisterous video games unhappy at being ignored â radio just shy of too loud, but the video gameâs obnoxious voice could annoy. As for hygiene, the dining tables, serving counters, floors and restrooms all clean within reason. Not really my style of pizza (too doughy) or restaurant, but thatâs just a matter of personal tastes. If you were contemplating a family pizza night out, this place is head and shoulders above any of those behemoth corporate national chains: good quality American pizza at correct prices. Two doors down from Barroâs, Bisbee Breakfast Club uses their large front landing as a patio. Would be nice if Barroâs could do the same.
