4/18/24 With a generic name, and some great photos on Google maps, I came to this place to try it out of desperation for some place new. The architecture, water features, old adobe style, and large outside patio felt very welcoming.
It's an old building, and we came through the main entrance, the lack of sound lessening materials made the dining room very loud from the other guests. We sat outside, and our server was quick on the draw to move the umbrellas for the shade, and they kept moving them without me telling them to adjust to the movement of the Sun. We ordered the salmon, a cream pasta dish that I'm forgetting the name of, the Pear pizza, and the meatball pizza.
The pizzas only come as slices and are decently priced.
They called them Roman style.
I call them pizza on focaccia.
The Pear was decent, the meatball incredibly average.
The pasta dish was good, but I can find that anywhere.
But also the pasta was too big and all the sauce sunk to the bottom of the plate.
The potatoes that came with the Salmon dish are AMAZING!!!👏 Crisp wedges with good flavor.
Didn't have dessert as it seemed average. I think this is a good place for a date or a wine tasting, but it's not exactly a must have dinner place.
The building is huge and they have a lot of seating areas.
The patio is very nice.
For the right occasion, a great place.
Will I go back? Only for the potatoes! 😁

Such a cute place with amazing food and great service! Our server with the shaving cream earrings was wonderful and kind.
The food was excellent and the portions were BIG! Will return when I visit Tucson again.

My husband and I have been wanting to try this place out for awhile and I'm so glad we finally did! The bread was AMAZING! It was probably the best bread I've ever had.
We also tried the calamari and fried artichokes and both were absolutely amazing! I had the tagliatelle and I loved everything except the meat.
It just tasted a little grainy to me, but I think it's more of a preference thing. My husband tried the Penne and he got it with chicken, but said he should've just had it as is.
The sauce and pasta were both really good though! Also...
the portions are HUGE! Either come with an appetite or be prepared to have some food to go!!
