Barrio Queen

Trying our first Mexican restaurant since we moved here 2 months ago.
First off, the restaurant is nice with beautiful decorations.
Service was nice and prompt.
The margarita flight looked nice but tasted very sugary and almost no alcohol.
For $20 for 3 tasting, we were expecting better drinks.
Beer was decent but what can go wrong with draft beers.
Salsa n chips were good.
Tacos were small for the price of $5.5 each.
Nothing special, really.
I couldn’t taste much of the flavors in the tacos.
The only thing we liked was the shrimp cocktail.
Very generous amount of shrimps but the strips of chips were stale.
We ended up using chips from salsa to eat.

First time at this Barrio Queen location.
Pretty nice setup 👌, like the decorations! We were there on a Saturday evening, absolutely zero waiting time, got table right away.
Food and margaritas 🍹 were delicious, nothing to complain about.
Nice atmosphere and very friendly waitress, top! This business deserves 5 🌟

Wanted to indulge in some Mexican flavors, and I must say, the tacos did not disappoint.
They surely were bursting with flavor and freshness.
The menu offers a variety of options to suit every palate. While the food was undeniably delicious, I found the service to be somewhat lacking.
Although the staff was friendly enough, there were noticeable delays in receiving our food.
Drinks followed the food while it should have been the other way around.
Could have been the weekend traffic but needs to be handled better. Despite the service needing betterment, the standout tacos definitely made up for it.
Just be sure to bring along some patience and an appetite for authentic Mexican cuisine.
