I recently dined at Applebee's Grill + Bar in Lakewood, and it was a delightful experience! 🍔
I tried their classic Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp, which was juicy and packed with flavor. The Parmesan Garlic Wings were a perfect appetizer, crispy and just the right amount of spicy. The casual atmosphere made it ideal for a family gathering, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
It’s definitely a reliable choice for comfort food when you’re in the mood for American classics... Can’t wait to go back! 😊
Food was delicious! Burger was flavorful and the classic combo was fresh! The waiter even brought us to go boxes without asking.Everything went the way it should have which was smooth.
Alright, an honest review of Applebee’s.Service was amazing.Great server who tried her absolute best.Drinks were great especially if you love really sweet beverages without much alcohol. Some food was good (chicken and shrimp) some food was so bad I wouldn’t even taken leftovers home (riblets). But let’s be honest, we all go to the ‘bee’s for The Rock’s drinks so I made sure to try all three. And I came up with a little game called FMK F: Tropical Mana Margarita (extremely sweet, but came with a gummy and MAYBE something The Rock would drink during a cheat day.) M: The People’s Margarita. Was it great, no.But could I spend a lifetime drinking it..sure K: Blue Aloha Mana Margarita.Terrible.Way too sweet, hardly any of that high quality Teremana tequila. Not as bad as the riblets, but a close second. Overall, happy we went.Got a quick mirror selfie for the gram which was nice because it resonated with my Midwest followers who also went to the ‘Bee’s for #franchisefriday
Applebee's is a good old reliable favorite but can be hit or miss depending on the location. This is the first time we have eaten at this location and we got there about 15 minutes into the happy hour. There was only one server and a bar tender for the entire Restaurant. So as to be expected service was not that great.Okay for the circumstances. I got the Sangria with an angry orchard in it kinda like a "Coronarita".Happy Hour offers half price appetizers and we got my favorite the soft pretzels with beer cheese sauce and mustard. We usually get the dinner for 2 for $25 or $30 and skip the appetizer to get 2 salads.I love the French onion soup here so that is a must. Our entrees were the riblets and Bourbon street chicken and shrimp. Both were okay. We were there on Superbowl Sunday and were told they could not turn up any sound for the game only music. So we quickly left before kick-off.
