My husband and I absolutely loved this place! Upon arrival, we were greeted as if we were visiting family. The atmosphere was welcoming and felt very home-y.This was our first time trying African cuisine, and the server (I think she was the cook and owner as well) helped us find something we would each enjoy.I ordered the okra stew with Oxtail and fufu.My husband ordered spicy beef with rice (I can't remember exactly what it was on the menu), but we were both blown away with the depth of flavor and amount of food! It doesn't look like much, but we were absolutely stuffed by the end of our meal. This was our favorite meal during our whole weekend getaway and we will definitely be back in the future. This family oriented establishment is truly a hidden gem and worth the trip.On a side note, I would also like to add how clean the bathrooms were! Overall a great experience! 11/10

Thanks, dear. You are a family member to us; God bless you all dearly for your unwavering support.Gratitude ❤️🙏
Hadn’t been in this building since it was Moose Hill Cantina. How cool is it to have West African food on Green Mtn?! The owners here are so warm and welcoming, it’s a breath of fresh air to actually get to know them and taste their cooking. Ordered a variety off the menu and enjoyed the food, although I did sense that some of the flavors were muted, possibly to cater to the suburban America palate. When I asked for extra hit sauce, then WOW, it had great flavor.

Thanks and God bless ❤️
Ok, this is hands down one of my favorite spots in the greater Denver area.I even had them cater my sister’s wedding because that’s how much we love their food. The ambiance is so unique.Very homy - truly a ma and pop shop…even their kids work as servers/hosts sometimes. They always say hi to us on a personal level and even keep up with the marriages/couples within our group. One thing I will say is be patient and don’t show up too hungry, because it will be a whole experience with occasionally up to a 45min-60min wait for food. But it’s well worth the wait because you know that food is coming out fresh as can be.You can also enjoy some wine or refreshing African beer while you wait. I recommend the samosas with the spicy sauce (truly a very spicy sauce so be prepared) as an appetizer, spinach stew with lamb (they have a ton of protein options though if lamb isn’t your jam), jollof rice, plantains, and most importantly the spicy jerk stew with chicken (again your choice of protein here) but just be aware they are noooot lying about the spice here so not for the faint of heart, but so good! The food is like nothing you’ve ever had before, and it’s well worth a try. Could not recommend this place more!!! Go visit the Osei-Fordwuo family!
