Another Broken Egg Cafe

I recently visited Another Broken Egg Cafe for a family outing.
My family and I were seated near the window.
The decor is warm colors with alike color furniture accompanied by dimmed lighting.
Isle seating may have you feeling claustrophobic.
This breakfast spot gets busy.
You may dine in or in their enclosed outdoor patio.
I ordered the Traditional Day Starter, I added a waffle, and their house coffee.
Everything was deliciously savory.
Nice and friendly service; thank you Antoinette.
Parking lot across the street from the restaurant.
Parking out front for a fee.
Decent prices.

Overpriced food with little flavor and of low quality.
Server was cool about everything.
I ordered the chicken and waffles with fresh fruit.
I sent the chicken and waffles back because the first two bites were of cold chicken and a cool waffle.
The replacement was not much warmer but I was so hungry.
The food had no flavor either.
The “fresh” fruit was awful.
I asked to have the cost removed from the ticket.
Second time I have been here and the second time I had such horrible food.
The way things were run, it almost seemed like I was a hindrance to my server who was “busy” prepping drinks and chatting with other workers coming by to see her.
She really needed to practice cleaning the bar area which had open soy milk containers on the counter and dirty dishes on and behind the counter.
Not going back.
If you like paying for the name and less than service and sub par food, this place is for you.
I have eaten at other A.B.E.
Restaurants with far better results, this ain’t one of those.

I been wanting to go here for a while.
Yesterday noon, my boyfriend took me here to surprise me.
Me and my bf enjoy the food and the cold brew smores (coffee, honestly my favorite) .
I feel like one bartender was ingoring us while me and my bf sat there for 4 to 5 mins without our menus after getting seated at the bar while another bartender ( shaniya) was kind and sweet, gave us the menus, and took our order after she was done helping another guest.
I appreciate she was patience with me as I have social axiteny sometimes.
Other than that, food was good, shaniya was very kind and the food support (a kind lady who gave us our food) was kind and sweet.
The one thing I want to say is the utensils were not clean properly, so i asked for plastic utensils instead.
Other than that, it was nice.
