Our lunch experience here was wonderful. From the minute we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, and taken to a table. The menu has so many options, and it was very reasonably priced.I had green pepper steak, fried rice and soup.It was delicious and fresh. The serving size was plenty and our food came fast.My mom was friends with Mrs.A-Tan in the late 70’s.They met in a group called International Friends.I don’t leave this 5 star review because my mom knew this wonderful woman and amazing cook.I leave this 5 star review because my experience was wonderful and we can’t wait to go back.I only wish Mrs.A-Tan we’re still alive so they could have had a nice reunion. It was wonderful meeting her family members. They were all so nice. They didn’t know, until after our meal, about my mom’s connection to their mom so it’s not like we got special treatment.lol! They were awesome with everyone that came in the door.We enjoyed all of it!
This was our first time visiting this place for dine-in.It was really great though! The hibachi chef was fantastic and the food even better!!! We got tempura veggies as well and we loved those too. The sushi was also beautifully prepared for us, although, I wish the menu gave us better descriptions, as we would have chosen different ones. But they were beautiful!!!
Service: - The host was very kind, prompt in seating our party. - One server was quick in noticing when we needed refills and providing us with what we asked for.Another wasn't as friendly or responsive, but nearby waitstaff did jump in to assist. Food: - Fried Rice Options: Bland, lacking in flavor.Adding sauces (soy sauce, duck sauce, sweet/sour sauce, etc.) will add flavor, but the flavor of the rice will reflect whatever sauce you place on it. - Egg Roll: All you can taste is the pastry, and very little sauce will help that. The innards were not seasoned. They're delivered to the table within a couple of minutes of ordering them, so they're probably kept under a heat lamp vs.being made fresh to order. Atmosphere: Spacious and clean, adequately lit, and comfortable. Overall, it was a "mid" experience. As "fried rice" is the most basic entrée to get there, I do not feel the need to return for any other Asian cuisine at this location.
