This place is pretty good, but it used to be better. -1 star because the food has gotten worse over the years. -1 star because they ask for a minimum 18% tip on a takeout order. -1 star because they attempted to charge 10% over the published menu price +1 star because they (reluctantly) agreed to honor their lower advertised price after a brief negotiation.

As a vegetarian , I was impressed by the diverse menu offerings.
We tried multiple options and as a vegetarian my fav was the thai curry .
My meat loving hubby loved the jackfruit dish and our younger one gobbled down the pizza and the nachos .
The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the cheesecake – a decadent treat that left me craving more. Zest SLC isn't just for vegans; it's a place everyone can appreciate for its great food and friendly vibe.
It's definitely worth a visit!

Zest Kitchen & Bar is an incredible vegan restaurant in Salt Lake City that I discovered the day I arrived.
On my way from the airport, I stopped by and enjoyed a lovely Samosa burger with beet juice.
Since then, I have ordered from them several times via DoorDash, and each meal has been delicious and filling, with plenty of leftovers.
Their desserts are fantastic, their salads are powerful, and their vegan pasta is excellent and the kombucha and teas are perfection.
I haven't had a meal there that I didn't love.
In my first week alone, I placed about eight orders.
I've also visited the restaurant three times, and even when they're busy, the service is always excellent.
I will definitely continue to visit while I'm here!
