The staff was nice, but they seem to be a little understaffed.The woman working the register was brand new, and she didn’t know the answer to a lot of questions.We came in with a large party, and everyone put in their orders individually, it was a great idea that Jason came out with a portable Machine to take some orders to help speed up the process.We decided to sit outside, we had to ask for the fans and the music to be turned on for us.A lot of the food came out individually, as if each order was being made one at a time, it would’ve been nice for everyone to receive their food at the same time seeing as we all were together.Despite the slow service, the staff was friendly and the food was pretty good.Not amazing, just OK.The shrimp were fried a little too hard, the wings were OK.String beans were terrible!! The frozen daiquiris were good though.If you’re looking for something super casual with music, then this could be a good place for you. Disclaimer: I am from New Jersey, and I am used to faster service.These kind people were just moving at their own normal pace.

Us being a fresh cook to order business, it is impossible to bring out all you individually placed orders out together.We cook and serve the food as it comes up.We do not store or hold food on the line.So everything you ate was cooked when you placed the order.We bring the meal out as we’re done cooking them so that it’s always hot and fresh.We do have a sign in the front at the register that explains every item ordered is cooked to order, never prepared ahead of time. I would also like to add when did you visit? Because the individual you named was promoted and move up to the corporate office a while ago.
If your looking for a new place to grab a bite....THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! Amazing creole food! Had the pasta ....every bite was creamy and delicious! Highly recommend it! Also had the NOLA meal......fish was crisp and flavorful! Fries on POINT! I'm a wing fan and let's just say these wings have made my TOP 10! Lemon pepper are my ultimate favorite!
This is an amazing black-owned restaurant with a patio, plenty of screens, and music.Sometimes, there's a DJ and karaoke on the patio.I love the food and atmosphere.The tantalizing bourbon boneless wings, green beans, and cornbread will keep you coming back! It is chill.The staff has great customer service and I just noticed there's a happy hour.It is right here in 3rd Ward so you know the energy is on point! #3rdward Holler at Rodney and he will take care of you!
