Family restaurant, Breakfast restaurant, Restaurant, Soul food restaurant
I met some people on Beale St who recommended Willie Moores and I’m not sure why.The breakfast food was decent but wasn’t spectacular. My grits were bland and the eggs were over cooked. The smoked sausage and toast were good. The problem with the restaurant is cleanliness. The floor is sticky and probably haven’t been cleaned in weeks. The the bathroom door doesn’t even close. When I was leaving the bathroom I took a peek into the kitchen and it looked filthy. And the atmosphere is dead.
Overall this place was great! Family of six, something for everyone.Breakfast platters were delicious and fulfilling.Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming:) Nice stop on our way through memphis!! Will visit again if we ever come back to the city. My son said his wings and fries were the best he ever had!!
Service was friendly, but extremely slow.Ordered breakfast and waited over 40 minutes when there was only one other couple ahead of us.I think there was only one cook.It was also a bit pricey for what we got.Food was good, my kids really enjoyed it, but it was nothing to write home about.2 identical plates of bacon with pancakes, grits, and scrambled eggs and 1 plate of bacon, chicken tenders, eggs and hash browns with 5 drinks…$67 + tip.
