We were in Memphis for the weekend and ended up here three times.Huge menu, lots of variety.Great ruebens, great seafood gumbo, great fried green tomatoes, excellent salads.Gabby was a great server.Within walking distance from the convention center.Parking was easy on the street as well.
We went here cause we passed by Memphis and it did not disappoint:3 the food was 10/10 and the server Miss Barbara was awesome! She gave my husband a free cookie fudge ice cream for his bday, it was the best :) The catfish was freshly cooked and was sumptuous. We also ordered a grilled chicken salad which was humongous :3 the jambalaya soup was the best amongst all ive tried, I definitely recommend this place. We went on a Monday afternoon.Their place was also very unique with lots and lots of decorations.
This is an okay restaurant. This is my third visit here.I visited on December 28, 2023.My server was Lonna. She was nice.I think a little overwhelmed by working by herself. The food was ok.They only gave me a few tater tots with my burger. They should have given me as much tater tots as they give fries. But after adding condiments to my burger, it was good.My son enjoyed his food as well. But I do not feel the burger and tots are worth $14.I understand everyone wants to say inflation...but all business have taken inflation to a whole other level by being ridiculously expensive.Do you know how many burgers, fries and tater tots I could have if I bought it and made it at home? Maybe a week's worth for the same price. My son had a basic cheeseburger ($11.79) and I had the Helluva burger ($13.29) and I had to put it together on my own.I cannot say that I do not recommend this place, but I will not say that I do either.
