Best experience I've had at a waffle house for sure.
Came around 1pm for late breakfast and immediately sat down.
Our server Melvin was awesome! He cleaned the table for us and immediately took our order and put it in.
Within 5 minutes, our food was already on the table.
I ordered the cheesesteak hash brown bowl with a side of grits, and it was DELICIOUS! It was very flavorful as expected, and the onions give it an extra kick.
The waffles were tasty and coffee freshly brewed.
I enjoy coming to this breakfast establishment for lunch or even dinner as they are not busy at all, and food plus service is always top-notch.
Inside was actually clean and everyone there from the employees to other customers were amazing! This is located off independence blvd and plenty of parking spaces to choose from.

I stopped by on the evening of Wednesday, 01-31-24, to pick up my birthday waffle.
It had been a long time since I'd been to this location.
Initially, I was a little hesitant because the last time I'd heard about this location, they were on the news for low sanitation scores. The recent reviews looked decent and I was close to this location.
Though there were customers, I was greeted when I entered.
I went to the bar and mentioned to the server that I was ordering my birthday waffle for dessert.
She mentioned that I was the second one that day, and I told her when my actual birthday was. Maybe because it's been a while, but that was the best waffle I'd had in a long time.
Seemed to be thicker than I remember.
Will definitely return the next time I'm in the mood for an all-star.

Melvin was awesome, he was very attentive and friendly.
Food was delicious and made fairly quickly.
Coffee was topped off without me asking.
