What an amazing establishment.
Paul was the perfect waiter.
Being first timers, we took all of his recommendations and they were spot on! For starters we had the Golden Delights deviled eggs, Honey Butter Croissants, and Pineapple Mimosas.
I had the Jamaican Jerk Lamb chops for breakfast with a Lemon Sun drop.
My daughter had the Frenchie french toast with a Blueberry Sun Drop and a side of Bacon.
My sister had the Catfish-n-Fixins.
The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service we received from Paul was outstanding! We drove 87 miles for this breakfast and we are already planning our next breakfast trip to “The Sunrise House”.
We had an awesome experience!

Absolutely loved this place.
I went yesterday, which was Mother’s Day, so it was understandably crowded.
However, our server, Nadine was awesome.
Very attentive and multi-tasked with ease.
The atmosphere was very pleasant.
The food sealed the deal for the overall experience, delicious is an understatement! Overall 10 out of 10!

This was my first time in Houston.
I flew from Puerto Rico and had the best food I've had in Texas.
Sonia was my waitress, and she was super nice and provided great service.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Houston. Also definitely order the shrimp and grits 😋
