The food was fantastic and although it was packed, crazy busy ti the brim, the staff stayed friendly. The Brussels sprouts in green goddess deressing were cooked to perfection and my burger was fantastic. The fries were fluffy, light, not too salty or greasy. My friend loved his pork chop. Skip the wine, not a good selection and go direct to the cocktails. The atmosphere is the only issue. The lights were too dim and they stuffed the tables too close to the wall with no pathway. I spent an hour and 15 minutes being bumped by elbows, patrons, servers, bottles, etc… and there is nothing to break up the sound in the restaurant. If the food and staff were not as incredible as they were, it would have been three stars. But the staff and service carry it through. The wine glasses are the worst I’ve ever seen both fit smell, have feel, and enjoying wine. You’ll see it in my photo.
It is undoubtedly the best restaurant in DC that serves the best weekend brunch. If you're visiting this place, you must try their Vanilla Bean French Toast, which is the best. The sweet toast battered in crème brûlée is simply amazing. The service at this restaurant is always on point, and the interior is tastefully decorated with white tiles and dark wood colors. The modern light fixtures, glasses, and displayed bottles create a stylish and unique ambiance.
Overall great experience here for breakfast/brunch.Few highlights that made this a positive experience: 1.Ability to make reservations.Lots of times available the day prior 2.Server was spectacular.Nice energy, helpful and on top of everything 3.Food quality was great.Poached eggs were great.Omelet was ok (a bit overcooked) but the portion made up for that 4.Food value was superb.A drink is included with the purchase of an entree so this improved value by a lot.Obviously not useful if you are not a drinker. 5.Kid friendly with lots of space for larger groups Final thought: Will definitely return!
