The service here is phenomenal. The food is very solid but not perfect. The steak tar tar was strangely served with fries - wouldâve been much better with some nice bread. The fried chicken was awesome. The Branzino was pretty good and had nice crispy skin but was a bit overcooked. The snowman desert was definitely the highlight. It was awesome.
Glowing reviews lead us to Central where the bar area was full of boisterous patrons rooting for their baseball team - but just a few feet away was the elegant dining area, the portent of a culinary adventure where DC American cuisine meets French preparations⊠The fried chicken is every bit as delicious as many reviews state - a sous vide process where the chicken melts in your mouth and crust delicately crisps never feeling, well, friedâŠ! Each dish pictured was perfect and the dessert, a Napoleon that was more like a most perfect Millefeuille, was dream in any language. French Chef, Serbian floor manager, engaging wait staff - the entire team made for us a memorable evening and promised returnâŠ!
This is by far one of my favorite places to eat in DC.Everything is so hot and fresh. So delicious.I highly recommend the goat cheese Caesar salad and fried chicken.
