Barbecue restaurant, American restaurant, Bar & grill
We dropped by the Old Wagon Saloon to catch some college football action and enjoy some food and drinks.Seated at the bar, the bartender provided excellent service. We opted for beers and Paloma cocktails. In terms of food, we ordered extra crispy garlic fries, chicken wings with sweet and spicy sauce, the shrimp Louie salad, and an assortment of barbecue meats including ribs, brisket, and pulled pork. Our top picks were the wings, pulled pork, and the Shrimp Louie. The Western ambiance added to the chill vibe of the place.Situated adjacent to San Pedro Square, there's a parking structure conveniently across from the restaurant. It's a great spot to watch games, although the TVs at the bar are a bit too high.Your best bet is to sit in the middle of the restaurant to have access to screens on both sides of the walls.
Had an amazing time there, we ordered several appetizers plus drinks (Nachos w/ Brisket, Calamari W/fried green beans and Potatoes Boats) my favorite was the Potatoes Boats...why? Well...Cooked to perfection ( not too saggy or dry) plenty of meats and garnish and the best thing not overly cheese, you can still taste the potato!😍 Our waitress was extremely attentive even though she was quite busy with our patrons! We will return and try other items!
Came for a company outing and sat outside, so can't comment much on ambience or service inside. The place was pretty busy and we were a large group, but the waiters did a great job handling our requests.Didn't have to wait long for all drinks and food items, and someone was always around to take more orders. I had the BBQ brisket and it was pretty good.
