The Harvest

What a wild ride.
Not a soul was there on a Saturday afternoon at 5:30.
Just our group.
Waitress was very… “hyper.” (If you know what I mean.) Chef came out and admitted he basically didn’t like anything on the menu except the steak.
I liked the honesty but gave me weird vibes that it must not be a great place to eat if everything was so terrible.
Food was okay, but we only went here because everything else in the area closes at 4pm.
Also, it was HOT - needed to put the AC on blast because of the huge windows.
Way too expensive for such a weird experience: did not feel like a fancy dinner.

I was very disappointed with the over all dining experience.
The waitress was friendly and I did not mind the wait because I understand it is supposed to be farm to table. Here are my concerns: I paid $20 for 5 pieces of shrimp that were cold in the middle almost like they were frozen (which is not fresh) ontop of that half of the lettuce was wilted.
When the waiter came to us to ask how everything was, I started to explain to her that I was disappointed and she nervously laughed and walked away.
Onto the entrees; I got the filet mignon which was cooked correctly but there was no flavor, the pepper gravy was so overpowering it took away from the filet.
The garlic mashed potatoes were the highlight of the dish and unfortunately I had a few garlic cloves that were so hard you could not cut them with a knife.
My husband got the frenched chicken and he said it was cooked well and seasoned nicely.
However the grits were bland. It was a big let down I hope this restaurant can make some improvements with the next seasonal menu change.

Great Customer Service! The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful.
The BBQ Lamb Ribs came out overly chard but after sending them back the server was very kind and polite when bringing a new serving of lamb ribs and also came back to ensure that the second order was prepared correctly.
I will definitely be back again.
