The Green Mesquite BBQ offers a delightful barbecue experience in Austin! The casual atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. I highly recommend the brisket - super tender and packed with flavor! Their happy hour specials on small plates and drinks make it a great spot for unwinding after a long day.

The outdoor seating is a plus, especially on nice days. Plus, they have a superb kids’ menu, making it family-friendly. The fast service was notable, too! Definitely a gem for barbecue lovers... 🍖✨

This place is really cute, a really nice looking sports bar.
Which is why I was confused why there was no one here on a Saturday.. After eating the food.
I now know why. The food is.
1/10. The point comes from the fact that I didn’t get sick from it. The jambalaya literally tastes spaghetti sauce with sausages over bagged/microwave rice. The macaroni and cheese didn’t even have a fleck of pepper.
No seasoning. My son said the rib was fine.
But what does he know. We also got the wings that were supposedly smoked.
No smoke flavor. And it was INSANELY expensive for being the worst bbq I’ve eaten since living in Texas. And I was born here.
