Ate 2 meals here.Stayed at the garden rooms. They were ok, not the most comfortable beds, and it was $171.00 per night. But, having said that… We are at the coffee shop both for Dinner on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning. The Buffet in the next hallway was just shy of $50 per person, and I did not feel that justified in spending that much, so we ate here instead. The server never wrote a thing down, and she did not need to! Everything came out quickly, and perfectly cooked.2 of us had Ribeye steak, which was excellent.(Pictures to follow) The baked potatoes was a bit small, but there was plenty of butter and sour cream to smother it! The vegetables were crisp and plentiful. The other guest had the French Dip sandwich. She said it was very tender, piled very high with the baron of beef! Way too much to eat. The salads were great, and the rolls, oh boy! Should probably not eaten so many rolls! But, they were fresh and tasty! We even were given hand dipped ice cream for desert. The average cost was about $37 for this meal, and was well worth it. Breakfast the next morning out on the patio was delightful.Eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a biscuit, yum. Breakfast was about $18.00 Way to go Little America!
This is one of my favorite places to eat.I remember coming here as a child and it has been fun to bring my family on many special occasions. My favorite dishes are the halibut and the open face turkey sandwich. This time we came for breakfast. It was so good.I got hot chocolate even though it has been over 100 degrees lately. They just have good hot chocolate. And my favorite dish of all The European which is eggs Benedict.Their version is so good with the cottage potatoes. The hollandaise sauce is so creamy. The eggs are poached to perfection and the ham is not too tough. All placed on an English muffin for creamy breakfast goodness. My husband got the traditional breakfast of French toast, eggs and bacon. He received four slices of toast which made him happy. My daughters ordered the breakfast burrito and French toast with berries with a side of a cinnamon roll. Our server was amazing she was able to joke with us and answered all our questions about meals. She was always on top of filling our waters and making sure we had all we needed for our meal. The atmosphere is always pleasant and you can even sit at the bar if you are in a hurry or by yourself or a couple. There are many photos of the early days of Salt Lake City and Utah.I am always comfortable and feel like it is home when I come here to eat.
The coffee shop has a nice atmosphere and attenentive staff. The menu has good variety. I actually went to check out the private room for rent since there are currently no pics of it, so I took some. The AC was nice and cool on a hot summer day.
