Service was poor since the second I walked in, kept insisting we sat outside, when not one person was out there , refused to seat us where we wanted to sit stating all the other tables were reserved (we had a reservation) & it was plenty of available tables that remained empty while we dined.Waitstaff brought my lemon slices to the table with bare hands, they weren’t friendly either. Food was ok , will order take-out for CORNBREAD that WAS FIVE STARS ,mac n cheese was good had chicken n broccoli in it good portion too.
The food never disappoints and the staff is always so kind and attentive.I love the feel of this restaurant with the brick walls and the cozy bar.Everyone talking and just having a good time.I 100% recommend going and trying their food.The Nashville Mac is a great entree as well as their Jambalaya and the dirty rice is a pretty good side if you’re looking for a bit of spice.If you’re into sweet the sweet mash casserole is so good! As far as appetizers go we got the hush puppies and split them amongst the three of us although I definitely wanted more with how good they were and we ventured out and tried the fried cauliflower this past time and I have to say that’s now a new favorite.
Food was very pretty but definitely not what I thought it was going to be…I got the brisket, mac & cheese and there was literally no brisket in it for the price I expected more.I also got the chicken and waffles I did love that it was very big.I wasn’t a fan of the syrup.The corn bread was delicious tho.Overall it was a nice restaurant but probably won’t come back.
