Nice place for oyster lover, and one of the best crab cakes I have ever had.Visited in mid Jan and they have a great selection of oysters. My friend enjoyed the different flavor profile of oysters.Clams are great option for people less into oyster. Also ordered the crispy point Judith Calamari, New England lobster roll, and cast iron crab cake. My favorite about these dishes is the crab cake, it was nicely seared which added the great texture and crunch, but it is juicy and meaty inside. At the time I had it, it was served with potato and sweet potato puree on the side.Decently big portion. The sauce is rich and creamy with some tagines which pairs well with the crab cake. The Lobster roll is alright, the but is very buttery which can get a be heavy, the lobster roll is served warm, the lobster meat is simple but good quality. It was served with fires sprinkled with old bay. The crispy point Judith Calamari was a bit disappointing; it was nice that it is seasoned with minced pepper which added some heat. However, this dish is very heavy and oily, especially when oil collect at the bottom of the plate.
One of the best meals we had in Baltimore. We stopped in later on a Saturday evening with no reservation. It was a 45 min wait but we were able to get seats at the bar after about 15 min.The bartenders were friendly and attentive. The drinks were well made. The food was amazing. We shared calamari as an app and scallops with butternut squash. The seafood tasted fresh and the flavors were fantastic.I would absolutely go back here again if in the area.
Absolutely incredible seafood and oysters (shocking for Baltimore I know).Easily some of the best seafood I have had with only a few places in Charleston, SC getting to the same league. Was so good that even with my limited time in Baltimore I decided to go back twice! They also have a great drink selection with interesting cocktails.I had some really good food in the city while I was there but this was the highlight, potentially would visit just to go back here again. Definitely make reservations if possible as it was busy every time I walked by.That being said I was able to get a seat at the bar so it's possible without one.
