The place itself is super cute and buzzing with people! The atmosphere is calm and the waitstaff is super friendly and helpful when it comes to answering questions about the menu.I wasn’t super impressed by the noodle bowl I ordered however the drinks they had were 10/10.I do think that if I go back I will definitely try to aim for the hot pot instead!
We stopped here for a quick bite.Heard it was amazing so it was a must.It was a cool experience but for the $$$ and the amount of food you get, meh.We ordered 3 Tom yum soups. You get a huge pot with about 3 shrimp in each pot, May 3 pieces of cut fish, not even a whole slice.About 6 slices of frozen fish balls, less than an ounce of mushroom, a squid and maybe a couple of other items with a ton if Napa cabbage. For $17ish, there is no extras unless you pay for the addition. We also ordered tofu hot pot, it was disappointing. The tonkatsu Ramen was ok.Noodles were spot on.Each pot came with a black or green tea, iced or hot, sweet or unsweet.Let's see, sesame balls were mini and ok, tofu app was not as expected, not great either. Gratuity is added for parties and if you don't read your ticket, you could accidentally tip extra for ok service. There's tons of hot pot places that are in the area that are really great like the place a few doors down.
They changed three times locations and finally I had a chance to come.To be honest, their old locations were not that good that why I didn't go.But this time I am glad I came.Taste is above chinatown's average level and for this price for this much food is great deal.Try the very very long frech fried.
