This place is airy, and casual, and the dominant tone of blue surprisingly makes the place cheerful too! There is additional outdoor seating .
The service reminds you of Olive Garden’s longtime slogan, “ When you’re here, you’re family.” The portions are very generous, and their moussaka was just as it should have been, a classic comfort food! The prawn dish ( I cannot remember the name)that we had ordered was hearty, bright, and packed with flavors! Of course, I would be a regular!

Food was 4-star, service was 1-star Pros: good selection of food, tasty food, spacious indoor, spacious shaded and open outdoor seating.
Nice decorations, friendly staff Cons: service was soooo slow and confused about the order.
The bread and butter came after we finished our appetizer! In the bathroom, paper holder and cover box were very dusty.
We ordered lemonade for kids and They brought water with a touch of lemonade, instead of lemonade.
When we asked and complained they insisted that it was lemonade.
When I finally asked to have the drinks changed they told us that the lemonade machine was broken! (They expected us not to realize or complain!!). Mac& cheese was supposed and as mentioned in the menu be made with elbow pasta.
Instead it was penne with some white sauce and cheese on top, not mac&cheese sauce.
They were in rush to clean up the table: I had to take my kid to restroom in the middle of my salad and when I returned salad was gone.
The server didn’t understood English well that when we asked for utensils after they had removed them from our table, he couldn’t understand and took him some time to grab the manager and bring us some forks. After all these mistakes and delays, we got the check with the tip written on it!! Which was more than 20%.
when we were leaving, the owner chased us and asked for more tip and her excuse was that for parties larger than 6 we had to pay more, without any mention of “service fee” on the check.
While the tip she had already written on the check was even more than the formula she was explaining to us (2xthe tax).
She insisted (like tip had nothing to do with the service and all their mistakes) and stood there until we doubled the tip.

A new find for us and glad we did.
Family owned Tasso’s on the edge of Willow Glen is a diamond of a find.
Enjoy, authentic Greek cuisine, a full bar, friendly service and a sporty interior or outdoor seating on pleasant days and evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed my Gyros plate (pictured) and started with the homemade Greek Lemon Soup.
Yes, I was emotionally transported to a cafe in Athens! On my next visit I’ll try the (fresh daily) seafood dish and a seasonal salad. Don’t deny yourself the tasty Baklava at the end of your lunch or dinner.
Open six days a week (closed Mondays); don’t go another week without giving Tasso’s a try.
