The gorditas were delicious! Cheesy and perfectly cooked, the salsas paired very nicely. The agua de melón was very refreshing, but my favorite thing was the corn in the cup! That man is passionate about his corn and you can tell!
My first visit.I tried the barbacoa flour taco.It was juicy and packed with flavor.I thought it was a little pricey at $3.50 each, but it was worth every bite. The sauteed onions, fresh white onion, cilantro, and lemon wedge was the perfect compliment to my deliciously beautiful taco. I will definitely go back soon ...and purchase a barbacoa plate this time.My palate gives it a 5+ for flavor.
They only have take out unless you want to sit at their one outside table. Considering the neighborhood, I would not even want to do that. Pick up and go is what I would suggest. I ordered the tostada which was priced at 4 dollars but the cashier charged me 5 dollars. After I asked why, the lady said they were $4.50 plus tax, which still does not add up. The food is tasty. My tostada was not worth the 5 dollars but it was good. WATCH YOUR MONEY WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER HERE.I will not return here; there are much better places to eat at, in the area.
