Boom Shack Dallas

My lady had been following this spot on IG for some time now, so after drooling over their posts, we headed out to give them a try.
Normally, I would read the reviews to form an opinion on whether I wanted to dine at an establishment.
But this year, I have to go with my gut, instead of other people experiences. Food quality: A Customer service: A Pricing: A Parking: B I will definitely say we will be returning to try a few more items on their menu.
The customer service was amazing.
The woman who took our order was kind, informative, and so friendly.
Everything was fresh, hot, seasoned, and delicious.
My only complaint would be that the soul roll was a little on the oily side, and the tarter sauce was too spicy for our liking.
However, for the amount of food we received for the price, I have no complaints.
It's definitely a place to try out if you're in the Oak Cliff area. Roni's pick

I tried out the boom shack based on an Instagram post, and the food looked great so I figured I would give it a try.
I went into the boom shack and place my order after waiting for about 10 minutes for someone to come to the window.
I placed my order and it took about 40 minutes for my order to come. I got back and started to eat the shrimp that came in the boom shack pasta, and all of the shrimp were not blackened, but burned. The meal was supposed to include chicken sausage and shrimp There were only two pieces of chicken in the meal, and the order was over saturated with the bed of cheese on the top of it.
It was basically pasta sauce, noodles, and cheese and burned shrimp. For $27 I expect it way more than what I got.
I didn’t even eat the whole meal.
I definitely will not be returning.

I give the atmosphere a 2 because it's a simple walk in - take out only which can be convenient. Seen this place on Uber eats and decided to give it a try because I'm always craving Crawfish and being that it's crawfish season & reading the reviews my expectations were Although it's my first time I usually take the 7 mile drive to JUICY SEAFOOD & BAR.. The crawfish was obviously not fresh, but frozen and super small considering crawfish is in season.
My bag has about 12 crawfish total the rest is what appears to be a water base house sauce.
Definitely disappointed! I will continue to make the 15 minute drive to JUICY SEAFOOD & BAR where the crawfish are huge the sauce is amazing they also include 2 corns and potatoes with every pound purchased you actually get what you pay for.
