This was a recommendation from a friend… Babyyyy when I tell you this place did not disappoint. When we arrived the line was out the door.I honestly didn’t wanna wait but with the line being outside the door I knew the food had to be good. The line did move along fast which was a plus.From the time we walked inside the door we could smell the food.They have plenty of food options to choose from and it’s cafeteria style.You start by saying what you want and move along the line.Everyone who worked at the establishment were friendly and had good personality.It was def a warm welcome.The menu is pretty much self explanatory (however i didn’t get any pictures) The meat/sides they give are large portions to share or have for leftovers. Plate one: Meat Loaf Dinner Sides: Collard Greens, Broccoli Rice & Cheese, Mac and Cheese comes with cornbread Plate two: Smoked Ham Sides: Collard Greens, White Rice, Sweet Potatoes comes with corn bread The food was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The cornbread was dry which is the only thing bad I can say about this place. I would def recommend!!
The food reminds me of my mom's cooking! It's SO GOOD! The food Hugs you with each bite! The portions are big and will fill you up! All of the employees were nice and welcoming.It's worth the drive.It's worth the 20 minute wait in line.I'll definitely be back! 🖤✊🏾
Listen I haven't had soul food this good at any other restaurant in America folks! Pictures are not photos shopped at all.Right from the restaurant and the plates are that big! It's going to take me at least two days to finish this goodness on a plate.Is there a long wait time yes, however it's because the lines are out of the door with people waiting to get to their food.That unfortunately is a testament to just how good this food is.I don't eat chitterlings, however if you do.I encourage you to get there early because it was about to be a fight about them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
