Thank you Samina!
I’m so glad we found this place! After living in Albuquerque for the past year and trying a number of sushi restaurants, we’ve finally found a great one. The ingredient quality at Tamashi is exceptional. The rolls are delicious and come out quickly. Our drinks were quickly refilled without us having to ask and the service attentive. The Sex and the City roll, which Tamashi lists as their most popular, was crunchy and fresh.I loved the crunchy bits on top, which are a Tamashi proprietary recipe. This is officially my favorite sushi place in Albuquerque and I’m glad we tried it.The price tag on some of the specialty rolls put us off from trying it a bit ago, but it’s filling and completely worth it.Go check it out!

Thank you so much for your glowing review, Konrad! We're thrilled to hear that Tamashi has become your favorite sushi spot in Albuquerque. It's wonderful to know that our focus on ingredient quality and quick service has made a positive impression on you.The Sex and the City roll is indeed a favorite among our guests, and we're so glad you loved it too, especially our proprietary crunchy bits.We understand the hesitation regarding the price of specialty rolls, but we're delighted to hear that you found the experience worth it.We look forward to welcoming you back soon and continuing to serve you the best sushi in town. Thanks again for giving us a try and for your kind recommendation!
Ive been eyeballing this place since I moved back and I am pleased to say they did not disappoint!! I started my meal with a grand duchess white hot tea and cucumber salad. The tea wasn't super hot but the flavor was smooth and not at all bitter. The cucumber salad was very different from other places but it was deliciously crunchy and tart! I always order the tonkotsu ramen at every new place I go to.This one was fullbodied, had a light layer of oil on top that coated the noodles perfectly. The noodles were firm and springy, beautifully coated in ramen broth. The chashu was a little smaller than I'm used to but the flavor that was packed in each bite made me forget about the size. The seaweed in the ramen made it feel like a miso soup! Overall, I am wildly impressed that a place like this opened in Albuquerque.
