Went in and placed an order as we were going through town.I specifically ordered my taco bravo no tomato due to a food allergy, asked for the oles no seasoning because I don't like the seasoning, and asked for a side of nacho cheese.When we got to our destination I found that my mean was completely wrong.The taco bravo was covered in tomatoes, the oles had seasoning, and there was no nacho cheese.Was too far away to drive back, but I now know the next time I come to Des Moines I will be finding a different taco johns location.
Nice clean space including the giant bathrooms. This is at least a monthly stop for us, and it is always good.Sometimes better than others, but consistently good. Tried the shrimp street tacos this time and really enjoyed them.Potato oles are always wonderful, especially if cooked a little crispy. Basic tacos are always a win, too.$16 for 2 meals and 1 drink.
Cashier was engaging and friendly food was better then other taco John’s close by
