This small Mexican restaurant has amazing food that comes out pretty quickly! I recommend the Burrito Mexicana for a classic burrito (very filling). They also have Mexican candies/drinks up front. The staff are attentive and the restaurant is decorated well.Have to go through two sets of doors to get inside and single stall bathrooms (wheelchair accessible). It is in a strange location but I would definitely return.
Wife and I decided to try somewhere new for us.Spacious dining area, quiet and decent service. Wife got the carne asada plate, rice, beans, and meat were delicious, and she personally recommended the guacamole salad. I had an pastor sopes, which was very good, I asked for no tomato and sour cream, got the tomato but that's alright. Also got two gorditas, one nopalitos and pork (think an uncrustable with tortillas instead of bread, the feeling was alright, kind of bland) and chorizo and potato (this one was better, chorizo had a cinnamon flavor to it, not very salty though). Pros: Unique offerings (slopes, gorditas and huaraches) you can only find in few local places Cons: Food was good, not great, ultimately a bit bland (I will say the salsa was good and their hot sauces were flavorful), server might be new as she admitted to forgetting about us We will come back and give it another shot and try more things out of the ordinary offered here compared to the rest of the area.
We gave this dive a chance and really wish that we went with our gut instinct! All of the food we received was VERY bland.Their cuts of meat are cheap and VERY fatty, it was totally disgusting! I have been cooking Latin food for over 30 years and would not recommend this place! Also, the young waitress with braces that waited on us barely spoke English.I speak Spanish and she still got our order wrong. The attention of both waitresses were more on the men sitting at the bar.We will never go here again, and mark my word...this place won't last long.Stay away from the gorditas & taco birria, it's the absolute worst, along with their odd menu. Most places give you rice & beans with your food, we had to order them as sides at more of a cost, and they were both super bland. They should stick to serving alcoholic drinks, it's probably better than their food.
