Easter Sunday night, I ordered via the app.I try to do that when I can because I assume that it makes things a little easier for the staff.When you order through the app, you have two choices, either Park in the mobile app spot and have them bring it to you or go through the drive-through and pick it up.I chose the drive-through when I got there.The drive-through was pretty full.The wait in the drive-through was very long.When I got to the speaker, I explained that I ordered via the app.They confirmed my name and told me to pick up my food at the window.When I got to the window, the woman working there said that because I ordered through the app I needed to pull around to the front to get my food.She mentioned something about that’s the way they have to do it for mobile orders and for Door Dash.She also mentioned that it might be faster if I come in because they were so busy.Well, if that’s the case, then why do they give you the option in the app to pick it up in the drive-through? So, despite having waited for more than 20 minutes in the drive-through, now I had to drive around to the front, and go into the restaurant.From there it was probably another 15 minute wait while they made my food.Here I thought that I was doing them a favor by ordering through the app and they didn’t even start making my food until I walked into the restaurant.Super inefficient and very annoying customer service experience for me.
Ordering was easy.I had questions and the employee was kind. But, I ordered a bowl.I didn't want the avocado ranch dressing.I wanted just a ranch.The woman had explained to me about their new avocado Verde sauce.1 was free and any extras were .20 cents each.I didn't want any of the Avocado Verde sauce but I changed the dressing from the one it came with to the ranch. Went to window and the woman took my payment.She handed me my receipt and closed the window.I looked at my receipt and there was a .50 cent charge on MY DEBIT CARD!!? what the heck man.I asked the woman if there was a charge to swap out the dressing.She said yes.It automatically does that.I told her I wasn't aware.She said "you're ok". The heck I am ok.She should have charged my debit card at all any additional charges!! I didn't authorize her to do that.I only paid for the bowl and nothing else besides the other 2 items I ordered and knew I was being charged for. If there is a charge for an item to switched out, I need to be notified of this prior to my card being debited!! You can't take additional money unless customers authorize it!!!!!!!! This is getting more and more common with business adding charges and NOT notifying the customer.It is only .50 cents BUT, it's my .50 cents and no one has a right to take that from me without my approval. You can't charge extra and only say something when the customer notices and asks about the additional charges!!?? No napkins and 2 spoons.No fork and no spork.
Why with 6 people on shift? Does this particular Location close their lobby but an employee is allowed to let their family in to let them buy food and no one else.This location also has roaches in the kitchen area I know this first hand being my roommate works there and has come home with a roach on him more than once I will never eat there again.
