I was sad to find that the SUBWAY® on W Jefferson St is permanently closed. I always enjoyed grabbing a quick, hearty sandwich there, especially their fresh veggie subs loaded with all the greens. 🥗

It was a reliable spot for a simple yet satisfying lunch, perfect for families with a good kids' menu. The staff were generally nice, but I too noticed they closed a bit early at 5 PM. In the end, I’ll miss those classic subs from this downtown Joliet favorite! 🍞
