Subway

whoever worked the closing shift on 2/22/23 is one of the KINDEST souls I’ve ever met.
To be honest, I’m not even a fan of Subway.
I just went to get one of the desserts because I was having a really bad day and needed a pick me up.
Even though it was only one person closing and near closing time, he still took my order with patience and kindness which is very hard to come across.
To whoever you are, thank you.
You genuinely made my night exponentially better.

Before I say anything about service; I would like to say that this store is GORGEOUS! Like..
this is the prettiest Subway I have seen...
in my life 🙏🏽 Alright, so here is some things.
I arrive at this location at around 6:30pm.
I don't necessarily feel welcome, there is no greetings, no one acknowledges me being there.
I must say it's pretty quite in this store and I kinda just stand there for a good minute.
The gentleman that works there then comes from the back and asks me what I could get for my order. First off, I would like to say that he does not apply the meat in the traditional standpoint with the 8 in a row.
Kinda like..
folds meat and then applies them on the sandwich in any form. There was also no form of eye contact, they kinda just looked down and expected me to know what I wanted off the bat, yes I did know what I want, however there was no real sense of patience. The service was fine.
Things were prepared as they should but, it kinda felt like they were rushing, like I was interrupting them from doing other things, but what do I expect? Its a Subway. I don't have anything bad to say..
but I also don't have anything necessarily great to say about them.
But maybe I will come back at another time probably in the afternoon and see how the customer service is then.
I don't know if it was the time that I arrived, but we shall see.
I have high hopes and I really want this place to be great and boost this place to the 4+ star rating.
Its in a wonderful area.

My family and I have eaten here a few times since its inception in the Skye Canyon community, but I think my daughter has eaten here a couple more times than I have - she enjoys the meatball flatbread.
With all the different sandwich shops Las Vegas has to offer, it is rather difficult to just visit Subway every time.
I feel that Subway is a decent franchise and their food quality has always been on par; however, I'd be lying if I said Subway was the best sandwich shop I've ever had.
Considering this restaurant is basically on every corner in Las Vegas, and located in basically every city in this country...even when a city/town has a population of 20 people, I don't feel bad if I don't support every Subway on this planet...they seem to be doing just fine. I won't sit here and list all the sandwiches I've tried at this franchise, but I will say that the steak and chicken sandwiches are probably my favorite two sandwich meats to have in my subs.
The prices are still reasonable even with all this inflation that we have to endure.
The employees here are phenomenal and have always been great.
I don't think I can ever recall visiting and wishing I could just go over the counter and make my own sandwich, or feeling like I just wanted to leave the restaurant.
The cleanliness of this restaurant was adequate; nothing dramatic, nor were there any evidence of laziness from the staff preventing the restaurant to look nice. I suspect that my family and I will visit again sometime down the road; however, it may not be anytime soon because we like to try new places every time.
I think majority of people in America has tried Subway at one point in their lives, but if for some reason you haven't, you definitely need to head to the nearest one.
I think majority of Subways are 24 hours now, so no excuses.
