I liked everything here, although ordering through computer kiosks seems mandatory.
Good tasting food (if not necessarily healthy), pretty low prices, very clean looking interior.

Steak 'n Shake is pretty awesome. While ordering at the digital kiosk may seem impersonal, we appreciated being able to take our time and ensure our order was correct before submitting it.
The kiosks allowed us to get exactly what we wanted. There was an abundance of parking available, which is always a plus.
The staff were friendly.
The restaurant was in a good, clean state which we noticed as soon as we walked in. The highlight of the visit though was undoubtedly the delicious food.
I opted for a double bacon burger with fries, and it did not disappoint.
The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the fries were hot, crispy, and perfectly salted. Overall, Steak 'n Shake delivered on all fronts - convenience, ambiance, service, and most importantly, quality food.
With options for everyone, reasonably priced food, and a welcoming environment, Steak 'n Shake gets five stars from me.

A group of nine of us arrived at 9:30 last night (3-8-24)from a local conference going on.
And ask if they were going to be open long enough for us to eat and was told YES and then 9:50 we received our food and then was told we needed to leave at 10 because they were closing. I thought they were joking and even said so to the waiter.
He said I’m dead serious.
He stated that Company policy requires everyone has to be out of the building at 10 o’clock I said then you should’ve closed at 9 o’clock and not let anyone else in.
Not give your customers their food and then tell them in less than 10 minutes you’ve got to be gone.
Never been treated like this before and I’m 64 years old will never come back to this Steak ‘n Shake.
I’ve always been supportive of Steak ‘n Shake in a very good friend of a former vice president of Steak ‘n Shake.
But it’s certainly not a way to treat a loyal customer
