I forgot how good this place is. Salty Soy bean milk - This is really tailored to my taste. I've had a few of them at famous restaurants in Taiwan but I like this better. Onion cake - very good.Thin and fluffy. Excellent. Spicy beef noodle soup - the soup flavor is very good, spicy enough but what caught my attention is the texture of the noodle. It's very Al dente. Chicken fried rice - I say it's slightly above average.Not bad. Beijing meat pancake - the meat is firmer than I hoped for but the taste and the pancake crust was really good. Walnut chicken - That was the surprised.My son ordered it and I have lots of doubt about it.I've had Walnut prawns before but Walnut chicken...It turned out extraordinary.I didn't like chicken breast but you couldn't tell the difference. It's very crunchy and chewy. The sauce also very good. I'm going to have to come more often.
We arrived at 1:20pm, but there is still a line.We have to wait for 25min. However, the wait worth it. All the dishes we ordered tasted great! Portions are large too! We especially love the chinese pancake and the pork bun.The sweet and sour fried pork slices is also authentic! There are plenty of choices to try and we will come again.
We went for breakfast and absolutely enjoyed the food! They offer so many authentic Chinese breakfast options, such as the classic sweet soy milk & fried dough.The sweet soy milk portion is much larger than we expected, enough for 2 people to share.The fried dough is very crispy, loved it! We also had the Chinese chive pocket, it’s full of fillings! Food portion is great, we packed left out for next day’s breakfast.Great value.Will definitely come back again!
