Sonic Drive-In on Frayser-Raleigh Rd surprised me during my first visit, despite hearing mixed reviews beforehand.
I ordered the #12 combo with crispy, well-done tater tots and a side of chili cheese tots. The food took longer to arrive, and my order was incorrect at first, but the young carhop, Shamerical, was a standout! She handled my concerns with such professionalism and friendly service.
While the atmosphere felt casual and laid-back, I do wish the staff had a bit more energy. Sonic used to be my go-to for quick bites, and though some elements were off this time, I left feeling satisfied. Still hope they improve overall!
