I do believe I just ate the best brisket I have ever had, and I lucked out with a 2-for-1 deal.
And the cornbread with pecan butter was simply amazing! Kaycee, at the bar, seemed to not only know everyone by name but also their favorite drink.
Friendly folks hang out here, and it was just such a delight eating here as an out-of-towner.
I really felt welcomed.
Great food, great staff, great atmosphere.

Marty was very accommodating and considerate, he really made the night special for me and my family.

First, I was grossed out by the bathroom experience.
However, it's the bathroom and is supposed to be unkind.
For the record, it was clean.
I had every intention of ordering a meal.
However, the waitress brought our water, holding it under her arm pit, and handed my husband his glass, holding the rim with her fingertips.
I thought it was a mistake until she handed mine to me with her fingertips around the rim.
Nasty.
I lost my appetite.
I only had a side dish to be polite for my husband.
I didn't want to ruin his experience.
My husband asked for additional napkins, and it seemed he wasn't heard.
He wasn't acknowledged.
However, she did bring the napkins; also, the same response when requesting an itemized receipt.
My husband was contemplating leaving a tip because he didn't like the service.
However, I felt that we should leave something because she did bring the food to the table.
Sorry Smokey Bones, however, we were not pleased, and I am still hungry.
