Taqueria La Monarca in Chattanooga serves up some delicious, authentic Mexican comfort food, especially their handmade tortillas! 🌮

I enjoyed the Torta de Asada paired with tacos de al pastor and chorizo. The flavors were fantastic, though a bit overcooked. The cozy atmosphere is great for a quick bite or a casual dinner.

However, the service could use a boost - our waitress was less than friendly, which dampened the experience a bit. Despite this, I’d recommend trying their caldo de res! Just be prepared for the prices. 😅 Overall, a mixed experience...
