I live about 25 miles away; brother in law recommended trying this place.
The staff are nice, the ambience is nice, and the food is good.
I'd come back here again, next time with my entire family.
Definitely worth the drive

I ordered a Gordita and a tortilla soup.
I liked that the Gordita was a good size for the price.
$3.50 it was a good deal and it came with lettuce and tomatoes on the side.
However, the tortilla soup was more like caldo de pollo.
There was a ton of different kind of veggies and didn’t have that nice red broth I’m used to having.
So it tastes like a caldo with added cheese and avocado.
And the broth was a little on the salty side for me.
It wasn’t bad but I won’t order it again for my taste.
Also, none of their salsas were spicy or even mild.
I asked for jalapeños and they tasted like bell peppers.
If they used Serrano peppers or something spicy their food would hit.
Their service and atmosphere was top notch though.
Friendly service, seated right away and they had live music.

The food was okay.
The server seemed to not be too happy to help our table.
The red salsa was sweet and the green one was heavy on the cumin.
The sour cream enchiladas had more cheese than sour cream.
The red chili con carne enchiladas were actually really good and I would recommend.
The corn tortillas were a big hit at our table.
