My friends had been telling me about Saigon City Restaurant for a while-I had been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant with no success.
I finally managed to stop by for lunch with a friend after getting our nails done.
We really enjoyed our food! I'm from San Diego, which has some amazing Vietnamese restaurants, and this reminded me of home.
The food was full of flavor, the textures were amazing, and the presentation was 10/10.
The servers were very polite and attentive.
I also enjoyed the decor and atmosphere.
I'll definitely be coming back, I'm excited to try more from the menu!

Dropped in for a snack before a movie.
Service was quick.
We ordered spring rolls and chicken wings.
The rolls were freshly made and tasted good with the fish sauce and peanut sauce.
The fried chicken wings were hot and served with spices and grilled jalapenos.
We will be back to try pho and other dishes. The owner(chef?) came out and asked if we liked everything, we had no complaints!

My favorite thing about Saigon Far East is their order of wings! Wow! The flavor is great! I always appreciate when the owner has time to answer my many questions about vietnamese cuisine! I always walk out with more knowledge than when i walked in! From Pho to Buns the choices are endless! January 8, 2024 Tonight we ate at Saigon City! I tried Bahn Hoi Dac Biet, my mom had Mi Xao Chay and my dad had Com Chien Ga.
We shared spring rolls, cha gio chay and canh ga chien. From the fresh veggies, noodles, and rice to the meats and tofu on each dish, every bite was excellent and so flavorful!
