The location is great, atmosphere is good, drinks are fantastic, and the service is friendly, but the food does not meet the Ruth’s Chris reputation. My wife and I were very excited for a dinner here, but it was not what we expected. The calamari was extremely chewy and soggy. The wedge salads had hardly any dressing. The ribeye steaks were soaked in butter and we couldn’t taste anything other than butter. The potato sides had an overwhelming amount of butter and tasted the same as the steak - like BUTTER.The crème brûlée had next to no flavor and the top wasn’t crisp.Overall it was a let down. When we walked in I made a comment to my wife that it smells like butter in here, and sure enough our butter came with a side of food.We both left feeling sick to our stomachs and neither of us were able to finish anything we were served. We were nauseas all night. Also to add, the prices shown on open table and Google are nearly half of what the actual menu prices are. You can find better food at all upscale downtown restaurants. We will not be back even if the prices were that of Texas Roadhouse. The food is immature and tasteless.I cannot understand why such a great cut of steak broiled to perfection with flawless texture needs to be served doused in butter.Let the steak speak for itself. I would not recommend this location to friends or family, I’d go as far to advise against it.You can do much better if you’re going to spend $150+ per person.Just go somewhere else.
We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Ruth Chris steak house they served a desert creme Brule on the house for our day ❤️ Got their filets as well 👌🏼👌🏼 will come back to visit again! Also had a blueberry virgin moxhito my gosh it was good! Total recommend
I have NEVER been a fan of chain restaurants and prefer to avoid them...but my hubs wanted to try RC out and I am so glad we did. It was our anniversary, to which it was acknowledged with rose petals and a card. The wait staff were PHENOMENAL, especially Ricardo. He was entertaining and enthusiastic. My husband warned me that I might get called Mrs (his last name) which I kept my name and we were both pleasantly surprised that never happened and had been referred to as 'madame' which was kinda cute. The staff member who cleaned up my husband's mess on the table had some serious pro skills that rivaled a ballet dancer with his performance swooping up crumbs with a butter knife. The food though... the food. Everything was drenched in butter and it was 100% worth every bite. From the sizzling crab cakes to my petite sirloin - it all melted in your mouth. Not only did we have dessert with our meals - there was a complimentary anniversary dessert that featured a creamy peanut butter inside, coated in chocolate. We were comfortably full. Now, we obviously can't eat like that all the time but I can guarantee we'll be back again.
