Rock River Grill & Tavern offers a cozy spot to grab a bite in downtown Des Moines. I visited for breakfast and opted for the buffet. While the selection was decent, I felt the $20 price tag was a bit steep for what was essentially a continental spread - think reheated potatoes and fake eggs.

However, the atmosphere is inviting, and if you're in a hurry, the fast service is a plus! Just be prepared that some items may not be up to par. Overall, a convenient choice if you're at the Marriott! 🍳✨
