I stopped by for the first time today.I ordered a Jam Session roll, a Jailhouse roll, and an eel roll. All three rolls were good, but the Jam Session roll was just amazingly good.I definitely plan to stop in again. I really like the atmosphere of the place, the rock music was a lot of stuff from the 80's while I was there, stuff like Bon Jovi and AC/DC.The decor was pretty cool, just all around a nice place.
My wife and I came for dinner tonight and Disney trivia since my friend was hosting it.I ordered two sushi rolls and wontons.The food was hot and delicious.Tricia was fun.Our server (I think she said her name was Kylie) was awesome.She never let our cups get empty and she was a whole vibe.Can’t wait to come back.We will sit at the bar again if she’s working!
Ordered on Uber eats.I’ve eaten here before even though i prefer the mcgregor location.Either way i am familiar with how the food should taste.My crispy wontons were old and stale.To the point i attempted to still eat them but just couldn’t do it they were so bad.I called the store and informed them.Their response was “i assure you we make them made to order” there is no way these were just made.The filling was thick and cold, and the outside was brittle as if they were made then redropped when ordered.If you look at the picture you can see underneath the breading another outer layer that looked refried, stale whatever you want to call it.The store stated the only thing they can do is i bring them back and they recook them.I ordered them on Uber eats, i was unable to come get the order , it’s clear i am unable to bring them back.She said there was nothing more they could do.This is not the first time this location quality of food has been a disappointment, the first time i was gracious and just chucked it up to maybe it was an off day.I ordered from them today cause they were the closest location to my job and uber eats continued to choose it as the delivery store.Today it solidified their quality is just bad.Nothing like mcgregor, never had an issue with quality or service there. *this was not a delivery issue.My order was delivered fast to be exact 8 min from the time picked up from store and it was not a lot of time between time ordered, picked up, and delivered.I’ve ordered and received wontons and it’s taken more than 10 min and fresh wontons were still warm by the time they were delivered.If this is the quality of what you all consider “fresh” i recommend reevaluating.*

We do make every order fresh when the ticket comes in.We do not refry any items.We would gladly remake your Crispy Crab Wontons on us the next time you come & visit us.Please email rnrmidtown@gmail.com. Using UberEats or any 3rd party delivery service has a likelihood of customers not getting their food fresh.As the drivers may not make delivering your food a top priority & in a timely manner.This causes fried items to not be as fresh as they should be. We hope this clears up any confusion.
