Nestled in the bustling Hackescher Markt, Restauration 1840 offers a charming spot for a casual meal. I tried the pork knuckle - absolutely delightful, crispy outside and tender inside! The service was attentive, adding to the overall experience.

While the curry wurst lacked a bit of authentic flavor, the fries made up for it with their crispy perfection.

Great for families, plus they have a nice kids' menu. I’d definitely return for another round of hearty German fare! 🍻
