I got the Eisbein (Pork Knuckle) and Berliner Pils, and I can't recommend enough! The potatoes #4 were crispy and thin (kind of like super thin mcdonalds potatoes), and the pork was so tender it fell off the bone.It also came with mushy peas and sauerkraut.Sauerkraut was very good but mushy peas are not for everyone. The waiter was super nice (especially for Europe).
Food Ordered plate with currywurst, schnitzel and a cutlet with fried potatoes (1) and Zander with curd sauce (2). Plate was tasty, but nothing spectacular.Just ordinary well cooked food. The fish was not bad too. Food rating: good food, but nothing extra delicious. Service Friendly and very communicative waiter.Spoke in English with no problems. However, asked for cash due to *network connectivity issues*.Seemed fishy. Service rating: nothing bad to say. Atmosphere Nothing spectacular.Yet was cosy and warm. Final verdict: good place to go, if you want to eat simple German food.Do not order plate.Choose one specific dish and enjoy it.
Here's an improved version of the feedback: Berliner Kartoffelhaus offers a delightful exploration of local cuisine. The service was exceptional, with our waiter checking in on our satisfaction with each dish. The quality of the local fare met our expectations, with a diverse selection of 15 German kartoffel dishes to choose from.Conveniently located near the Berlin Tower, it's a great spot to dine. While prices are average, it's worth noting that the place can get crowded during peak hours, so reservations are recommended.
