If I could give 0 stars, I would.
One is way toooo generous.
My son has been BEGGING us to take him to Red Lobster after seeing videos about how good it is..
So his dad and I decided with his good grades this year, why not.
None of us have ever eaten at Red Lobster before, and I can say with absolute certainty that we NEVER will again.
We arrived and were seated around 7:55 PM.
It took our waitress 15 minutes to come greet us and get our drink orders.
Mind you, our table was one of THREE that was occupied.
That should have been our first sign.
So, we get our drinks 10 minutes after ordering them and then we don’t see the waitress again for another 20 minutes.
We finally order our food and wait 45 MINUTES to be served.
By the time I got my food, it was cold.
One of my dishes was the crab legs, which were cold and uncrackable at that point (we weren’t given crackers for the claws, either) my other dish was the grilled shrimp on a skewer which was apparently flavored with burnt uncleaned grill seasoning.
I got a side of broccoli that was horrible, and the shrimp linguine Alfredo tasted sour, so I took one bite..
this review is long so I’ll make my point now so others don’t stop reading before seeing my warning— I 10/10 would not recommend this place to ANYONE.
My son was so disappointed and feels terrible that he begged to go (which we of course told him it’s not at all his fault) Oh, best part? We were one of the last two tables left in there and we had to go ask a different waitress to send our waitress out with the check because at that point we just wanted OUT OF THERE.
So, she comes and sees my plate still full of food and asks if I want a go box, to which I say no, expecting her to follow up with “was everything was okay?” Like any sane person would do, but instead she just says okay and hands us our $150 ticket and walks away..
leaving us to ask a different waitress once again for help bc at this point we just wanted to pay and leave.
So I can not say enough how absolutely awful our entire first ever red lobster experience was.
What I CAN say is that I just paid $150 for a supper that I didn’t eat and am now on my way to McDonald’s.
I don’t know if every Red Lobster is the same as this one, but my recommendation to Red Lobster would be to file bankruptcy at your Baton Rouge location because it’s giving y’all a terrible rep.

It’s so upsetting that I just spent that amount of money to try and give my son a celebratory supper and we couldn’t have had a worst experience.

Wonderful dining experience.
I had the grilled Lobster, salmon and shrimp with orso rice.
It was delicious.
Our server was friendly, helpful and always anticipated our requests.


First sign should of been the restaurant was empty then we ordered our food and me of course I ordered a steak medium rare and I got it it was medium so I told them I wanted a new one and then she went back there and came back and said that there were 16 online orders in front of me so if I want my steak I'm going to have to wait 15 minutes for it so I said okay well I guess I don't have a choice and then my daughter ordered crab legs then the waitress forgot to bring her the crab crackers and so I asked for them and we waited and waited for about 10 minutes after a reminder her.
The food was pretty bland Even my lobster was overcooked anyway not a good experience 🤷
