Salvadoran restaurant
After the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors meeting Robert N.Hoff and I stopped in at an authentic Salvadoran restaurant. Robert had steak and veggies I had a delicious fried chicken with beans, rice, and pickled veggies. The food was very authentic and good.
We ordered queso and queso/frijoles (cheese and cheese/beans) pupusas to go and loved them! They also came with a side of sauce and slaw.We ate all 11 we ordered. It helps if you know Spanish when ordering, but they made it happen with my “Spanglish” and they were ready by the time I got there after ordering on the phone. Great Salvadoran pupusas in 37211!
The pupusas here are really delicious. They're a little on the oily side, but the flavors are really good.We ended up trying the cheese, chicken, and pork with cheese and beans. We visited a couple of times, and at first, my favorite was the cheese, but on the second visit, it ended up being the chicken. The price isn't bad at all, and we ended up enjoying our meal.
