This establishment gives true Southern vibes .The interior feels calm , family oriented and welcoming .It’s not a noisy restaurant (which I enjoyed because the tables are close , but one table didn’t overlap on a noise level) .It is a wait time based off how busy they’re.One thing I was disappointed about is the lack of seating for a waiting area .For a 25 minute wait we were standing around in the sun .There was another family also waiting , sitting on the ground waiting for their tables to be called .Outrageous .It is difficult to go back to your car because they may or may notify you for the table while you’re walking back to the car .So please put a bench on the outside and inside so guests can sit .Our server was on point with refills and very friendly ! Some Of the highlights from our meal were the blackberry tea , Mac and cheese , pulled pork and Chicken Fingers .In my personal onion the brisket was slightly tough.The pulled pork was the star according to the person who ordered it .The chicken tenders were well seasoned .The sliders were on the dry side .So maybe if they were tossed in the sauce first and then placed on the rolls .But they definitely need sauce to build them up.All of the other sides were enjoyable as well .The restrooms could’ve used cleaning (Trash needed emptying , floors swept ,etc.This restaurant is affordable for all walks of life And I would return and recommend to others .
We must have been the last table of the night, as service was slow as molasses and they were all standing around talking to each other, saying goodbyes, then friends walking in to chat - took forever to get our food. In all honesty though, the food was good and reasonably priced.I enjoyed the BBQ more than Peg Legs that's for certain. They have live bands (like everyone else in Nashville) and it's go enough grit that you feel you stepped off Broadway. A flight of beer and the meat tasting platter....great little dinner.BBQ sauces were great too on the side.
