Portillo's Surprise

Chicago dog I never tried never been there ( they said the decoration of the original Chicago is fun! ) it’s cool decoration here already! damn.
It tastes so good! Good vibe Employees are cute and not pushy, always polite! Please keep it this way. I love Maxwell street polish (pork sausage)! Thick and flavorful Our family got Big beef and regular dog Don’t forget the good fries with 0.99 cheese sauce! Good dipping Run there don’t walk or think. Everything is awesome!!!!

It was just okay.
The chicken tender breading reminded me a bit of KFC, which I want a huge fan of.
They weren’t very crispy but were still juicy, which was good.
The fish sandwich was very disappointing.
It turned to a soggy mess in a couple of minutes as did the lettuce because of an overload of tartar sauce.
The fish was also smaller than the bun.
This felt like a slightly elevated Filet-O-Fish.
The chocolate eclair cake and chocolate cake were both very good.
The chocolate cake was very sweet and the eclair cake had a pretty nice balance.
I wish they had more than one cashier as the line was close to the door for a good 45min.
Otherwise, great service.
I would go back to try a some of the other items.

Who knew Surprise needed a Portillo's? Not me until I decided to check it out with my son and his girlfriend today.
Up until recently Surprise has been lacking great spots for a possibly quick, but still sit down vibe kinda option.
First impression was the huge parking lot and huge line of cars in the drive thru.
It has to be good right? I'd visited a location in the East Valley years ago and it was pretty good so I had high hopes.
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by not one but multiple employees.
The location is large and offers ample seating in both booths or tables.
You walk in to a designated line and large menu to look over.
There are also items for purchase ranging from coffee mugs to T-shirt's as well as some jarred food options etc.
While the line was pretty long it went very quick with multiple employees at the registers.
The woman helping us was not only all smiles, but so friendly and made us feel very welcome.
My son's girlfriend and I chose the two Chicago dog combo while son went with the burger combo.
We also ordered the chocolate cake shake, strawberry shortcake cake and a chocolate cake.
You are given your drinks and number correlating with your order.
Our food came up very quick.
There were so many employees working their tales off.
Again I was met with a smile when I went t to the pick up counter.
Throughout our meal we were checked on, asked if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our visit.
Lt once did it feel forced.
While this location does offer a drive thru it really gives that sit down restaurant feel.
We felt welcomed and we left so full.
The location is clean and bright with all the windows.
The food was delicious and fries crispy without being overcooked.
Totally worth the stop.
We can't wait to go back.

I only snapped two pictures, but let me tell you we ate it all ha ha .
