Poki Poki - Escondido

My go-to spot for a delicious bowl of poke.
The food is always fresh and flavorful.
There are a good number of options for toppings and bases.
The portions are always generous.
The regular size is quite a meal so I would try that one before attempting a large bowl. They do charge extra for additional avocado and additional proteins, however the other toppings and sauces they do not.
This is really important because they provide quite a bit of rice that can be a bit dry without extra sauce.
They are always generous with the sauce if you ask. The staff is incredibly kind and polite and professional.
The girls working tonight in particular were very nice and very helpful to me and my husband. the restaurant itself is very very clean.
I never have any doubt about the sanitation or cleanliness when I go here.
Even the outside is always kept neat and orderly. The price is quite affordable.
For 2 regular bowls plus additional avocado we paid $34.
This is cheaper than some fast food places nowadays, definitely cheaper than the Panera right down the road and I feel like I get way more nutrients and quality ingredients at poki poki.

Poki Poki is a fun place to get all your food needs.
The food is fresh, crisp and savory all the times we’ve been there.
Prices are reasonable especially for the size / amount of food you get.
The regular bowl gets 3 choices of proteins and always is PLENTY of food with most of the time left overs being put in the fridge for the next day or a late night snack.
The restaurant is never super crowded which is nice so there is never a long wait to get food.
Overall a great Poki place in Escondido, where I go for my Poki cravings.
I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a solid option for Poki.

I am leaving these 5 stars for Alan! As someone who had dedicated their life to bettering customer experience in several industries, I can be rather detail oriented when it comes to my overall experience in every business I step foot into.
He is a breath of fresh air.
Finding employees like him is rare! I always have a decent experience when I come here but if you want to truly set your location apart from others, he should be at the forefront of ALL training.
Even down to the tiny details on how he makes his bowls! He is a genuine person and when I complimented him on how I appreciate how he makes the bowls he said, “I like to make every bowl as if I was making it for myself.” Wow! Amazing job Alan, never stop being you! Thank you!
