By far this is the best halal food I've ever had.You can tell that the food is freshly made each day unlike other halal spots.The value is great for a platter for all the food you'll get (rice, chicken, lamb & 2 sides). Staff is friendly and helpful for any questions you may have. Definitely one of my go-to spots to get some good eats whenever I'm in the area.You'll leave happy and belly bursting full.
I got the falafel bowl.The falafel were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside, the hummus was creamy, they even had zatar to sprinkle on top.I got it with taboulleh on the side with salad base but there were other options.My friend got a falafel sandwich.The server was nice.It is in downtown newark and pretty good spots to eat nearby.Close to NJIT.Parking might be tough depending on the time & day but there are many streets for street parking if you don’t mind a stroll.
Highly recommended.Loved the food and the service.The people that run the place are so friendly and the portions generous.The falafel was excellent and the rice very tasty.The Traboulsi was fantastic
